Hustle Hard for a Great Future

In life, you have to hustle for a great future.

Because success isn’t guaranteed.

And for most of us, our path to success won’t be straightforward either.

What you desire will test you. There will be many emotions, tears, lost friends, and obstacles to overcome.

What you want will not come easy.

It takes a lot of passion, patience, and hustle to live the “good life.” And sometimes, you’ll question your sanity.

You’ll ask yourself is it all worth it? Am I doing the right thing? And more…

But I hope the answer is YES.

Because you have to keep going, especially if you wanna reach your destination. That’s the only way you’ll succeed. You shouldn’t stop.

Quitters don’t make it to the end.

While those who do make it pick themselves up. They move on after each failure, heartbreak, and setback. And press forward.

They hustle hard for a great future.

So… if you’re trying to hustle for a better future as well, here are a few suggestions from me to you.

1) Move On – Let Go of The Past

I’m sure you’ve had some moments in your life that’s cause you a lot of pain.

But you should know, the longer you hold onto that pain and anger = the more challenging it’ll be for you to build a better future for yourself.

Find ways to overcome your pain and anger.

When you’re feeling low and unmotivated, figure out what makes you feel better and brings your peace.

Here’s a Few Things for You to Try:

  • Journal your thoughts for 15 minutes a day
  • Get active – live a healthier lifestyle
  • Learn how to control your negative thoughts
  • Write down your goals and develop a plan of action
  • Find a passion and do something you love

A new hobby or something relaxing’s a great way to manage stress while hustling for a great future.

And the best way to let go of the past is to focus on the present. And the moment you’re currently living in.

Meditating for at least 5 minutes a day will help. Just find a quiet place where you can focus on your thoughts and feelings.

Once done, carry on with your day and take note of how you feel.

2) Change Your Mindset for a Great Future

You’ll never grow into your future self if you don’t develop a positive mindset

Oftentimes you’re the one destroying your own success. We live within our heads, and we don’t even realize it.

How Can You Create a Better Future if You’re Telling Yourself:

  1. I can’t do this!
  2. I failed at everything else in life.
  3. This person is doing better than me.
  4. And why am I not like them?

And if you’re saying things like this to yourself, you need to change your mindset.

Start telling yourself a different story. Think positive thoughts.

And when you find yourself talking down on yourself or negative, change it.

Think Positive Mantras Like:

  1. I can do this
  2. I am strong and can conquer what life throws my way
  3. Find the positive
  4. I’m good enough
  5. This task isn’t challenging, and I’ll find a way to get it done

Once you learn how to change your mindset into a more positive one, you’ll find it easier to face life obstacles.

Because the words and stories YOU tell yourself matter.

Even if you never say them out loud. The thoughts themselves are enough to cripple you mentally and create doubt.

This YouTube video sums up and puts things in perspective.

And it’s why positive self-talk is important if you want to be successful at anything in life.

Positive self-talk will motivate you to hustle hard for a better future for yourself.

3) For a Great Future, Don’t Be Afraid of Change

Remember this: “The action that scares you the most is what needs to be done.”

I promise you; I get it when you’re afraid of results from life changes.

A past action or mistake may bring this fear and stop you from making needed changes.

You might be used to living a certain way. And have developed a safety net that brings you comfort.

You’re afraid of making changes due to it destroying your comfort zone. Change is uncomfortable.

But life itself is change. And change is going to happen in life.

Shit, it happens every day. And there’s no way you can build a brighter future for yourself if you don’t accept things changes.

If You’re Afraid of Change in Life, Try This:

  • Accept uncertainty– You cannot control everything that happens in your life. You need to accept that there will be times when fate will pop up out of nowhere. And it will challenge you. Once you understand this, you can handle anything life throws your way.
  • What’s the worse that can happen – When you’re starting something, and you find yourself thinking of the worst-case scenario, address it. Find the solution before the problem or obstacle even appears. Because once you stop thinking and stressing about the bad, positivity will come into the light.
  • Learn how to embrace taking risks in life: Some people enjoy the risk of jumping out of the plane or swimming with sharks. Do you know why? They want the adrenaline rush of taking risks in life. I’m not telling you to take these actions, but you should embrace taking risks and learn to accept them.
  • Start small: If you’re afraid of taking steps to accomplish your goals, I suggest taking smaller ones. Smaller steps will make your end goal seem less intimidating and more fun.
  • Turn fear into excitement: Back to the examples of people taking risks of jumping out of airplanes and swimming with sharks. Replace your fear with excitement! They’re excited to jump out of the airplane. They’re eager to go to the Pacific Ocean and swim with a fish that’s twice their size. Not fearful.
  • Create a support system: Find people in your life who’ll help you create a better future for yourself. Your support system can be family, friends, church, or an online community. There are people in your corner rooting for you. And you gotta find them. That way, they can help you, and you can help them.

But overcome the way you view change in your life.

Change doesn’t have to be negative.

4) Start Taking Action for a Great Future

It’s time for you to stop the pity party.

You need to stop overthinking, complaining, and crying over your failures in life. It’s time for you to boss up and start taking action to build the future you want.

Stop waiting for the perfect moment. It’s never coming.

Create and become a doer. You and you alone are responsible for your life. You’re not a princess. No one is coming to save you!

Figure things out. Take action daily.

And once you start taking action, you’ll feel much better about yourself and overcome your fears.

5) Work Smarter Not Harder for a Better Future

Because if you want to be successful in life you need to hustle hard for a great future. And learn how to work smarter.

Here’s Some Tips on Doing Just That:

  • Prep for the day the night before: Before going to bed, plan out your day. Write down what you want to accomplish. Then when you wake up in the morning, you already know what needs to get done. Prepping the night before is an excellent time for you to plan out your clothes, routine, and breakfast.
  • Meditate before starting your day: I want to discuss the importance of meditation. It’s a powerful way to bring positivity and calmness into your life. Meditating in the morning will provide the right mindset to help you hustle for a great future.
  • Master time management: Time management is a skill many people struggle with. But once you can master this skill, life will become a lot easier for you.
  • Eliminate stress as much as possible: Stress will keep you from building a brighter future for yourself. If you’re overworking yourself, take a break. Your mind, body, and soul will appreciate it.
  • Ask for help when you need it: Remember when I told you to have a support system in place. When you need assistance, ask for it. The people in your network are there for you. And once you ask, you’ll probably overcome whatever challenge you’re facing a lot faster.

The Takeaway

As you can see, building a better future for yourself is all about changing your mindset.

Having a negative attitude will set you back in life. And keep you from reaching your destination and blessings in life.
