Time Freedom and Why It’s Important

Time is FREEDOM.

Why?

Because living life and doing what you want, when you want is priceless.

You aren’t shackled by an uninspiring everyday schedule you honestly don’t want to do. You can get out of bed excited for the day ahead. Nothing is forced.

There is no “just going through the motions.”

The freedom to do whatever the fu*k you want to do when you want is a blessing.

But in today’s world of hassle and competition, many people aren’t able to live freely. They’re stuck doing shit they don’t want to do. Not enjoying life as it passes by.

And it’s possible you might be one of them.

But what exactly is Time Freedom and why is it so important in life? Well, that’s what this blog post is going to tell you.

I’m going to talk about what time freedom is, how it’s important, and what you need to do in order to change your life and achieve it.

So, if you’re looking to take back your time and become a free-living being, sit back, relax, and read this shit until the end. =)

What is Time Freedom?

The ability to choose your lifestyle is Time Freedom. The ability to make time for the people around you is Time Freedom.

And the ability to do whatever you want every single day of every single week WITHOUT having to follow a strict working and daily schedule is Time Freedom.

It’s not easy to achieve all of this. But it’s not impossible either.

It means not having to give control of your life, of your time, and your existence to someone else. Whether they’re your superiors, you’re employers or anyone at all for that matter.

For this, you first need to understand you don’t have to give your personal space to anyone in the world. No matter how important they are to you.

It’s a Choice.

And time freedom gives you the freedom you need to enjoy life as it comes by. To live every moment with the freedom of choice.

Not having to think twice before making a decision because of time restraints. Yes, you might find it difficult at first. But once you are capable of controlling your time and life, you’ll appreciate many small moments that used to pass you by.

Life becomes really simple and straightforward because YOU choose what you want to do.

There are a ton of different ways to describe the concept of time freedom. But each and every definition leads to one, and only one conclusion.

A life full of happiness and calmness.

Because sadly in today’s world, societies are built on people sacrificing their happiness and freedom to provide for their families.

Giving up control of your life and doing a 9-5 job for a generous amount of money has become normal.

And I’m not hating on 9-5 jobs. They’re a great tool. They can provide structure, resources, and a foundation needed to build and invest in great things.

But… people are so familiar with the concept of working a job and having no control over their time. No time freedom.

This entire concept of time freedom seems like some foreign, alien concept to them.

And that’s why I believe, understanding, learning about, and gaining freedom of time in YOUR life is incredibly important.

Why Time Freedom is so Important for a Healthy Life?

Think about this for a moment. How would it feel for you to:

  • Wake up at the time of your choice
  • Live your passion
  • Earn a generous amount of money
  • Live a simple, yet happy life

And have complete control over your life?

Sounds wonderful, doesn’t it? Well, most people in the world want this in their lives. A simple happy life with good friends, amazing loved ones, a decent lifestyle, and no worries.

But this hardly happens.

Time freedom gives you the option to have this and much more. But you have to be creative and passionate about the things you want in life.

And all you need to do is leave behind a few things from your past. Your constant need to grind, and fit in with society’s puzzle. And the urge to always compete, compare, and outrun the “competition.”

Ask yourself, is time more important to you? Or is it money?

Let’s find out.

What’s More Important – Time or Money?

The age-old question, what do you want more, time or money? Most people would choose the money.

But one thing they don’t think about much is there’s no need for money if you don’t have any time.

Believe me, leaving behind your 9-5, five, or more days a week job to do something you love and are excited about would be 100x better for your mental health.

Even if it pays less.

Understand this – you DON’T need to live a life or work a soul-sucking job just to make the most amount of money you can possibly make.

You don’t need to idolize Bill Gates or Jack Ma. You don’t need to be as rich as Amazon’s CEO Jeff Bezos or Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk.

All you need to do is be live a life you love. And live it how you want.

On your terms. Because at the end of the day, the one thing that matters the most in life is the happiness you have.

And having all the time you need WILL give you more happiness than ever having the most amount of money in the world. Your time is much more valuable than money.

Dead people can’t go on vacations, watch great movies, eat out when they want, or chill with whoever they want.

Sure, the money they made and the things they have will still be around.

But, they’ve run out of time.

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.Steve Jobs

Steps to Achieve Time Freedom

Knowing what Time Freedom is and how crucial it is to get it is great. But actually taking the steps required to achieve time freedom is difficult.

Leaving everything you thought you needed in life, to pursue what you actually need in life is incredibly difficult.

But change is needed if you want control of your time.

And once you choose your time over bullsh*t, you’re going to thank me. And you’re going to be much happier than constantly having to unhappily grind your life away.

So let’s take a look at the steps needed to achieve time and financial freedom.

Step 1: Quitting Your Soul-Sucking 9-5 Job

This step is going to be the basis of your journey to achieving time freedom in life. You’re going to have to stop grinding.

Let go of your 9-to-5 job where you’re constantly underpaid for the amount of work you’re putting in while your health is continuously deteriorating.

Because the amount of time you’ll have once you leave will be worth everything.

It’s not easy because it comes with all sorts of risks. But this is where you need to take a step forward. You have to calculate all risks and then decide whether quitting your day job will benefit you or not.

Then make a solid plan.

I’d suggest learning an in-demand skill you can fall back on if need be. Saving up enough money from your current job to cover all your bills and expenses for a year. Then live and execute your plan.

Do something you actually love and have always wanted to try. And know there are many alternatives to working a regular 9-to-5 job.

Faith and action are all that’s required.

And only those with the courage to actually do something like this, make the jump, and decide to try all of their options will succeed.

Step 2: Doing What Makes You Happy

Once you’ve got so much more time on your hands, think about the things, the business, and the activities that make you happy.

It might not pay much at the start.

You might be broke for a while until you figure things out. But at least you’ll be doing what you love and on your own terms.

But you can work whenever you want and have more time to do other incredible things with your life.

For some people, even working under a boss or mentor will feel like a dream job. And there’s nothing wrong with this. As long as you find time for yourself in between all the tasks and different things you’re assigned.

Step 3: Working Less and Exploring The World

Pursuing your goals isn’t the only thing you need to do. You need to make sure you leave that 9-to-5 mentality behind.

You need to prepare yourself to be able to do the same amount of work in the span of 3 or so hours. This will help you save much more time for exploring the world, enjoying more, and learning shit you want to learn about.

Some people say when they’re not working, they have nothing else to do. Well, this isn’t the right approach.

There can be many other things to do other than work that’ll actually make you happy and excited about life

You just have to discover what actually makes you smile.

Step 4: Spending Time With Those You Love

The saved time you’ll now have on your hands can then be used to socialize more with your friends, family, and loved ones.

People who do nothing but work all the time, regret not having spent as much time with their loved ones. The time when you’re most alert, healthy, and active throughout your life.

All because of how busy they used to be. And how little time they had on their hands because they had to do things they’d rather not be doing.

Like spending 8-12 hours at a 9 to 5 job you don’t like for money.

Spending time with those you love can recharge you and make you more active and excited about all the things that you want to achieve.

Think of it like this and know – time spent with loved ones is time spent really well.

Step 5: Having Complete Control of Your Time

With TIME FREEDOM you don’t have to answer to anyone anymore. You’re your own boss.

No one but you controls your life. And that’s something you have to make yourself understand in order to live a rich and free life.

Go out more, travel, explore, enjoy, play, have fun, and spend less time saying “No” to people when last-minute plans are made.

It’s difficult for some people to be their own boss. Some think they won’t achieve anything if there’s no one they have to answer to.

But this is something you need to change yourself. You need to think outside the box and be ready to take control of your time.
